Chicken Box Automata Assembly Instructions

Step 1: Prepare All Parts

Cut out all wooden components needed for assembly. Gather the 2mm rod and two rubber gaskets as shown. Lay out all parts to ensure nothing is missing before you start.

Step 2: Build the Axis Sub-Assembly

Assemble the axis by fixing the three cams to the indicated positions using wood glue.
Tip: Install the cams at different angles to ensure proper movement later.

Step 3: Build the Box Base

Assemble the main box structure by connecting the walls to each other, then attach the cover to the walls.
Note: Leave the right wall and the indicated opening unconnected at this stage.

Step 4: Install the Axis

Carefully insert the axis sub-assembly into the box. Fix the axis in place using the designated part.
If needed, gently lift the cover to make installation easier, then close the structure with the right wall.

Step 5: Build the Chicken Sub-Assembly

Assemble the chicken figures as shown, following the exact installation order. Make sure all pieces are aligned correctly before proceeding.

Step 6: Attach Chickens to the Base

Securely attach the completed chicken sub-assembly to the top of the base.
Use wood glue on the indicated areas to ensure a firm connection.

Step 7: Install the Turning Mechanism

Assemble and attach the gears and handle as shown, using two screws and nuts.
Follow the installation order in the illustration. Now your Chicken Box Automata is ready to use!
